PES2012 Windows Phone
Even as I begin writing this review I am in two minds about how it ends; I am using the writing process as much for mediation of the final verdict as much as I did with the actual research (read: “playing the game”) and note-taking, an integral part of my thought-gathering preparation before typing out a single word. Now, the conflict arises largely because PES 2012 is the sole big football simulation game (or ‘soccer’ if you prefer) currently on the Marketplace. Its predecessor, PES 2011, was pulled down in the wake of the current year version’s release. At times the game is good and makes me want to play, but at others it just seems to abuse its position as the sole game and it is as if because there is no competition, Konami have not delivered the best football game they possibly could. I’ll explain why.
